We are pleased to announce that we have a growing music and sound therapy program!

Terri Tacheny is a wonderful harpist who is studying to become a Clinical Music Practitioner with a primary focus for playing music to heal animals. She has played for the big cats and primates at the Como Zoo and has graciously volunteered to play for our horses. As she has played out in the pasture, some of the horses have approached to watch, while others stopped eating to relax. The music is healing both for the horses and the people at Acres for Life! Terri does healing through music with people as well, playing at a local Twin Cities hospital with a Reiki practitioner.

If you would like to contact Terri Tacheny, please email her at territacheny@yahoo.com.

This summer, Suzanne McKeever will be bringing her passion for music, as well as, her love for the empowering connection between people and animals. It is through the message of music, that we find a place of harmony and peace. Suzanne provides Sound Attunement Therapy and will be introducing Drumming Circles, Native American Flute and harp. More about this in our Spring Newsletter.
